Marina Aftershoot: Lauren + Chris Slubar

We're excited to share Lauren + Chris' aftershoot taken back in September. We photographed their wedding at Hacienda De Lago, and then met up the next day to capture their first day as a married couple. Check out their pics with their boat at Highland Lakes Marina. New Year, New View

With the start of the new year, I have to admit...I've been a little hard on Number 9. Every year, I make resolutions not only for myself but for the company too. Since I didn't fulfill last year's goals, I've been hard on myself for not growing the business in certain areas.

With all that said, I woke up to RocknRoll Bride's inspirational interview with Emma Case. I needed to read Emma's honesty more than ever to realize that I don't need to beat up my company to be successful.

Here's to embracing all the things that make Number 9 creative in 2012. Like I said, "New Year, New View"-CA

Family Session: Wiley+Naomi+Veda

Christmas time is family time! This time of year is a good time introduce new family members while creating the first family portrait. Veda Moon, almost 5 months old, had her first shoot with her parents earlier this week. During the session, she laugh, cried, ate, napped and played...all in a day's work. I've photographed Naomi at the Cathedral of Junk and her maternity session. It was nice to have some camera time with Naomi and the family!

Cozzolino Family Session: Jenny+Simon+Cliff

It's been cold outside, but the weather cooperated enough for the Cozzolino's first family session. The sun came out long enough for 4-month old Simon to enjoy the shoot...until the shoot ran into his feeding schedule. Boy's got to eat...he still did great!

Roadhouse Relics Engagements: Erin + Craig

Engagement season is upon us. What better way to kick it off than with a session at Roadhouse Relics. Todd Sanders' place is a photography wonderland. I'm glad that Erin asked for a S. Austin feel for her session, and loved all the the location choices. Here's to the love fence, sunsets, and S. Austin! Erin and Casey will marry at Thurman's Mansion next March.
