Portraits: Jeannie Guerrero

The first thing I can say about Jeannie is that once you meet her, you start to think sexy, retro and even rockabilly. The goal of this photo shoot was to ignore the obvious and pull out Jeannie's softer side. I didn't want to take anything away from her sexy, retro side. I just wanted to add a little something to it.-CA

Portraits: Ashleigh + Bryan

Ashleigh and Bryan met with Number 9 for a re-invention of the S. Congress portrait shoot. The goal was to show the true spirit of Austin while remaining true to Ashleigh and Bryan. As a photographer, I wanted to strip down the shoot to look as if the camera wasn't around. Ashleigh is a photographer herself, so she brought along her vintage camera for fun. Inspiration can come from tons of places, but this one particular book, 365, really left it's mark. The Spanish photographer, SofĂa Barlocco, presented the book as an anniversary gift to her boyfriend. When I saw this, it made me want to up my game in how portraits are done. Thank you to Ashleigh and Bryan for trusting me during this shoot. -CA
