Engaged: Katie + Ty

I've said it once, and I'll say it again...MUST.BLOG.MORE.SESSIONS.

This was my first engagement of the season. Katie and Ty were first dating when she was the maid of honor at her sister, Shannon's wedding. In her session, Katie wanted Mayfield park, skyline pictures and her wedding colors, turquoise and red. Next up for Katie is her bridals in June and wedding in July.

Macy's Runway Event with Camila Alves

Shannah turned 1yr

Number 9 met Shelley and Mathew Pridgen back in 2009 when they were married at Texas Old Town. Since then the Pridgens have become parents with the addition of Shannah last February. We feel honored to have photographed Shelley and Mat's engagement session, bridal session, wedding, maternity session, Shannah's 4mos session and now her 1yr. milestone. This session just reminds me how much time has passed and how fast Shannah is growing.

So we owe an apology to the blog (and website)...With all the social media out there, we've been paying more attention to our Facebook, twitter, instagram (number9photos) and pinterest pages while completely ignoring our first one...the blog. Here's a sample of what we've been up to these past months. We promise to share more on the blog moving forward.
