Cedar Creek Session: Mindy + Jeremy

We've been a little lost from the blog these days, but we are getting back in the swing of things with a busy March. Earlier this week, I had a chance to capture some pics of Mindy + Jeremy. During the session, I met Hank, the dog, and Butters, Mindy's pet chicken.  It was a refreshing take on a couple's session. The reason being that Mindy hates to pose, so it was a challenge to capture her in the moment. Sounds easy, but in an age when everyone poses, it took me back to basics. This is a great, natural session of a couple about to head down the aisle. The couple will wed on St. Patty's day in a ceremony under their oak trees in Cedar Creek, TX. 

Palm Door Shoot featured on Elizabeth Ann Designs blog

We are so proud to announce a Valentine's feature on Elizabeth Anne Design blog. Elizabeth Anne Designs is a blog based out of Chicago dedicated to wedding details and inspirations.  The styling of our featured shoot was the concept of Sarah Donovan of Stationery Bakery inspired by old illustrations and vintage Vogue brides. We all worked with a Gatsby-inspiration in mind. It was such a fun collaboration at the Palm Door of Austin vendors, Stationery Bakery, Tiny Pies and Gypsy Floral and Events. Taylor, our beautiful model, is actually a kickboxing instructor in Round Rock. We love non-models!  Feel free to leave comments and check out the full post.
