Married! Carolyn + Bob

It's been a LONG time since we posted to the blog. Our Facebook and Twitter pages have been getting most of the attention these days. Last weekend we revisted Chapel Dulcinea to capture a beautiful morning wedding. Here is a sneak preview from Carolyn and Bob's first look.

Number 9 BEST OF WEDDINGS!!!

Thank you for a great year at Number 9! We were thrilled to learn that we were voted Best of the Knot Weddings this year. Our brides allow us to be creative and show off Austin at the same time. We couldn't be happier and more appreciative to our couples for recognizing our work. We aim to give you a piece of art and doing what we love is enough for us. Thanks again and let's look forward to the new year!

Number 9 at QUACK's

Come out and see our Cathedral of Junk photo series on display for the month of December at Quack's Bakery. We captured the cathedral's details back in February 2010 prior to the dismantling hoopla. See the heart tower, beethoven, an the trash vegas sign in their original glory. Cathedral enthusiasts are welcome. Much love to Vince Hannemann and the Cathedral rebuild.

McMurtrie Farms Wedding: Amanda + Matt

Afternoon luncheon weddings are my absolute favorite, and Amanda and Matt's wedding proves why. The excitement stays in the air and it's an all around good time. When we first met Amanda, she didn't have a venue yet but knew she wanted an Anthropologie-inspired wedding. She decided on McMurtrie Farms, a privately owned farm in Pflugerville, for her garden party idea. We LOVED the inspiration. Every detail was perfectly THEM, and that's what makes an fun wedding. From the boiling pot groom's cake to the bouquet exit toss, this wedding had style and great color. We hope you love it as much as we loved shooting this. Congrats to Mr. + Mrs. Propst!
